Cal sería a forma máis axeitada? Vai un frio de carallo ou fai un frío de carallo. Para min a primeira, pero teño, e sobre todo fan me ter, dúbidas?

Comecemos por lembrar a importáncia de dar ao padrom o papel que lhe corresponde: o de umha variedade entre outras possíveis da língua, reservada para determinadas funçons de tipo formal. Por isso, em muitos casos, devemos falar de uso apropriado ou nom apropriado de determinadas formas plenamente legítimas. Caso diferente é o das influências tam desnecessárias como degradantes para o nosso córpus lingüístico, por causa da ilegítima pressom do castelhano ou espanhol sobre a nossa língua.
Indo ao caso concreto, deparamo-nos com umha das formas populares galegas para nos referirmos à temperatura e ao tempo atmosférico: vai frio / vai calor / vai vento... Embora nom estejam presentes em todo o território, tenhem umha presença significativa, sendo plenamente válidas e perfeitamente compatíveis com as que harmonizam com as padronizadas nas variantes lusitana e brasileira da nossa língua. Som elas: fai frio / fai calor ; está frio / está calor; fai vento / está vento. Como curiosidade, o galego coincide com o brasileiro no uso muito habitual do verbo ventar junto a fai / está vento, enquanto em Portugal a forma padrom é faz / está vento.
Achamos que as três possibilidades podem perfeitamente conviver como legitimamente galegas, embora só a primeira delas, com o verbo ir, seja caracterizadora do galego face aos padrons lusitano e brasileiro. As outras duas, com os verbos estar e fazer, pertencem ao conjunto de todos os países de fala galego-portuguesa, Galiza incluída.
Só mais umha sugestom em relaçom à consulta que comentamos. Junto à expressom proposta, “vai um frio de caralho”, em funçom da situaçom de fala, podem utilizar-se outras como “vai um frio de rachar” ou “vai um frio de rapar”.
